wet boot floor in Xantia want the cure its here?

Post by falling-out-with-my-car »

I went to an autofactors and bought a tube of panel glue its a black compound and it sets quite quickly.

I trimmed the nossle so that it was very small and squirted a bead of panel glue along the top edge of the rear screen seal it has to be so small you can hardly see it.

This stops any water running behind the seal and down through your back door into your boot, problem solved, the goo costs about 12 quid like most sealents the surface should be clean and dry i used meths to clean the surface first.

its a quick and easy solution. regards Nigel. ps that was five years ago and its still dry in the boot.
