I forgot to post - I saw one of these on Thursday night ( A38 Derby - Mansfield )

They actually look quite nice, and bear a resemblance to the 407 and the rear looks a little like the new mondeo.

I suppose if you punch the same numbers into a computer..

Oh, and this was a Hdi, and it was quick !

You sure it was the new C5? These cars look far from quick on paper with the fastest being 0-60 in 9.5 seconds, and thats the 2.7 V6 HDI... so slow...... Citroen please do a 6-7 second 0-60 model... somthing a little sporty....

The latetest top gear mag rate the 2.2 hdi exec as 15/20,saying its very "German" while still retaining Citroeness.
R Hammond tested it this week in the Daily Mirror saying the same.
Seems theres no bad press as of yet.
I must say from what i`ve seen & heard i would be very tempted. Not a "normal" steel sprung version though.Although i can see Citroens way of thinking offering steel springs on lower versions.
