Fuel filter c3 1.4 hdi 16v

Hi to all, just woundering if anyone could help ?

Need to replace my fuel filter on my MK1 c3 part on at the moment is a Delphi HDF 909 Two sensors and two tubes for pipes, now I am now told that this has been replaced with the Delphi HDF 939 type, but this is my problem the newer filter has one blank at the bottom for the sensor but no pins and no place for the other sensor and also it only has one pipe and a hole on the upper left side ? anyone seen this and knows how to replace - advice would be great ..
