Key Transponder C5

Does anyone know if the transponder for the immoiliser is in the key fob (blip) or the little bit of plastic on the key blade.

I need help on this because the QC at local dealers is doing my head in.

I think he thinks
Bullpoo baffles everyone.

its in the plastic bit on the keyblade but as far as i know you cant buy the blade & plip seperate.
