If there's any C5 owners out there with a CD changer fitted from new, can you tell me where the changer normally is, and where the cable emerges from?
I ask because it would appear my 2001 C5 has a changer cable fitted - the blue plug is connected behind the radio, but I have no idea where the other end is! I can't see it emerging under the passenger seat, nor can I see it hidden away in the boot anywhere!

Is it possible to tell (without breaking your neck!) where the cable runs from?
I have some wires under there going up into the chair (for airbag and something else - maybe it detects when someones sat in it?) that run down a little track and into the carpet under a plastic hood, but I can't see the changer cable anywhere 'obvious' under either seat.

Well, I was guessing if they've installed the cable at the radio then the changer-end must be tucked away somewhere quite obvious where the changer normally goes, but I can't see any sign of it.
If you could tell me (or show me!) where the wire emerges from, that'd be helpful - there's already one wire under there for the airbag I don't want to disturb! I'm wondering if it comes up through a nik in the carpet, if so where abouts, or from under the center console, under one side of the chair fixing or another, or what. It has to be somewhere!
I have noticed what looks like an airvent under the front seats - is the changer supposed to sit on top of that? Seems a bit odd.
