Hi and bye all. My Xantia is dead. Up for sale spares or repairs. Now drivng a Mondeo. Who knows I may be back. Thanks to everyone who offered advice. Take care and safe motoring

You have my deepest sympathies, i would never wish a spring suspention on anyone :cry: never mind one from the worlds most bland/boring car brand, Ford :P

If its a late Mondeo you will probably find you can't repair it :(

I will leave you with this: A pal has a Mondie that he is trading in becasue the central locking has a mind of its own and resists all efforts to resolve it :twisted:
