ZX 1.9D Lucas Pump

Hi
Was looking at the Pump today with an idea towards maybe using SVO.
noticed the Lucas name on the plate.
Is their any point in me trying to use Veg Oil in this without extensive modification ?

The Lucas pump is reportedly too frail to tolerate the thick vegetable oil, so the short answer is definately not. Sorry to say.

Definatly not! Insides of the pump will soon break up because of the way it works, Bosch pump is suitable but worth mentioning leaks are also possible!
