c5 suspension problems

My brothers c5 estate 2002 model is dropping right down when left for a couple of hours ,When the engine starts it goes back to the normal level,Oil is not low.Anyone had this or any ideas.

The suspension on the C5 seems to be electrically operated. When I get in ours there's a buzzing noise and it lifts itself to compensate for my weight. I wonder if you've got a blown fuse.

Is it the front or the back that drops down ? or both ?

the whole car drops right down he says the tyres are very nearly scraping on the car.

did the fault just all of a sudden start or did the front start doing it then the back (or vice versa) ?
Is there definitely no leaks ? are you checking the fluid level when the car is in the low position ? The anti sink valves are built into the BHI unit & controled electrically.
would you be able to park it up overnight & disconnect the battery as an experiment & see if it still sinks ?

Thanks wheeler it started suddenly and not front or back but the whole car,Doesn't need over night it drops within 2 hours of switching engine off.
