Veg oil heads up .....37p per litre

Just thought I would let you oil burners know that Tesco have their own brand veg oil on special offer @ 37p per liter for 1 litre bottles.

The Mrs spotted it this morning at our local store...apparently it's a discontinued line hence the price.
Iv'e been thinking about starting to run a bit of veg oil so looks like now's the time.

It may be worth checking out your local Tesco as I would imagine it will be in all stores.

Its not online though so it may be just a store thing. if it is id buy the lot when your next in if its still that price

I think I know why its reduced in price.....

When you try to open the bottle the plastic tear stip on the lid gets halfway round then snaps off...obviously being men of means we can cope with this

but I can imagine Tesco will have received a few complaints from the fairer $ex

I saw some 25 litre cans in a Tesco super store near Swansea last week, no price on them though.

I dont know the name of the place but I think it was off the M4 junction just before the Swansea services. It not far from a branch of GSF, I went there first for some LHM.

Llansamlet it was called, look on the GSF store list under Swansea.

I was wondering myself what price they were and mentioned it to my brother and he asked the next time he was in there.

They're just decoration.

It was the 37p oil that was at the Newcastle Upon Tyne Tesco Extra, Kingston Park.

Don't think they had any big cans.

here was me thinking vegi oil would be a pain to get hold of, doing deals at chippys etc. etc. but of course... supermarkets!!!

ive just had a revelation! i could get fuel for 40p a litre!
