My Pug 205 Project

I thought I'd post a (shameless!) link to my website which shows my Peugeot 205 project. Its based on a base model shell (Because thats what I had at the time!)

I'm using an engine from a 1.6 106 Rallye (TU5J2, 105bhp) which is using Jenvey SF throttle bodies, custom made inlet manifold and a completely new right hand mount to clear the manifold. Its all going to be managed by an Emerald K3 ECU.
The car will be used just as a weekend/track day toy so I'm hoping to keep it road legal.

arnt you getting the head ported (gas flowed), i had my daughters dersh and my 1.9D BX done whilst we had the heads off, amazing the diferants it makes

No, not for the moment. The TU head is a pretty good head to start with, I'll see how this first phase goes first. To get it doen properly by somebody who knows what they are doing costs about £500, a lot of detailed work goes into it.
Also, headwork does an amazing job of moving power further up the rev range....

Should also give more power lower down if done properly though!

Yes, if done properly. A lot of so called tuners will do an awful job. Its very easy to lose flow if doing a bad job on these heads.
