Xantia Leather seats

Post by jgra1 »

I think I have found some, cream ? non electric.. I have never seen these in a Xantia, can anyone shed some light?

Probably look quite nice in a dark coloured car...

Cream was available throughout production as an option to black.

Make sure that there's no damage to cream leather as (unlike black leather) you won't be able to get it repaired due to the ageing process.

Not true 8)

Any furniture dealer can tell you how to clean down the leather - and bring it up with a new colour shine. Its even possible to do a colour change - with proff result.

Popular topic on TV programs on home diy issues too

Cheers Jgra1 :)

Im near Doncaster South Yorks but wouldn't mind a bit of travelling to come get them :) are they fitted with side airbags at all as my current seats have them but may still be able to find a way to get around having them fitted with some electrical investigation on the circuit :)

Are you missing the Xant then Mez? Withdrawal symptoms? Need a fix do you?

Quite understanable really. I've been using my 205 for a few days whilst my Xantia rested, prepped, ready for its MOT (it passed :D ) and today getting back into the Xantia was such bliss... Like slowly sipping a fine vintage port and nibbling on a particularly fine piece of mature Stilton :P

well i got them last night.. cream isnt quite the colour ;) more like a dull greeny beige.. like a 70's P6 rover

and they need a good clean - nailbrush and soap, and then hide food...

Still, will try them for a while and keep the others just in case.. no seat heaters

Mez, understand.. I am missing the V6 soo much, its still taxed, insured so i may drive it a bit more before i try to sell it :(
