When should the coolant be replaced? The service booklet suggests at 75k miles for the Relay, but doesn't mention coolant for passenger cars.
(Note, I understand the standard C5 coolant is organic acid based and NOT ethylene glycol. The two don't mix!)

I believe the recommended life is about 5 years.
The C5 antifreeze is NOT organic it is ethylene glycol based but a specific form. I changed mine recently when doing the cambelt and fitting a new water pump at the same time as a precaution. After some research on the internet I found the easiest and cheapest supply was the citroen product available from GSF. Nearly all the major manufacturer have their own special blends of antifreeze these days. They have particular anti corrosion additives etc and are formulated to be compatible with the metals and seals etc in the cooling system.
Regards
John
