PSA Diesels everywhere..

Post by philhoward »

Just had to bite my tongue (i.e. hit the backspace button a bit)..

Just been browsing a Jaguar Forum (we have an XJ-S for a bit of fun!) and caught a generic thread about "Top 50 worst cars". It seemed to evolve into a French bashing session - mostly by X-type diesel company car drivers and S type diesel owners...who seem to have no idea how much French input is under their bonnet!

It's like the saying goes, " don't knock it 'till you've tried it"

The French diesel engine is one of the best in the world, it's just that not many people know it or want to know it.

People used to slate me for owning my C15D back in 1993, but it pulled more wieght and gave better econemy than the escorts, and did 350,000 miles in 7 years ( never broke down)

A lot of people are snobbish about French cars, don't know why?
