Was just trawling ebay when I saw this

Citroen ZX/Xsara O/S Trumpet Wing Stiffener - Part No. 96073813

for sale and wondered what it was.

naahh...
its a box shaped section to weld on the inner wing in the wheelarch - to stiffen or strengthen the inner wing.
The overall shape of the part resembles a simple trumpet ...

Guessed it was something like that.

I did wonder if it was (or part of) something I could use to repair the rusty inner wing....
