It looks nothing like a Citroen inside, I know it was developed with Mitsubishi, but the partnership only seems to go as far as "here's an engine - stick it in".
The column stalks look cheap and japensesey (similar to Toyota Avensis if I remember correctly), the aircon controls are rotary (similar to Chrysler Sebring).
The steering wheel leather feels cheaper and shinier than the leather wheel on the Xsara Picasso.
It also had my pet hate of words on the column stalks instead of symbols. Citroen, look at the stalks on the rest of the range. They are nice to use and look reasonable too. Couldn't you graft them on?
I can see the benefits of the C1 being a Toyota, but for a £20k plus car that looks nothing like a PSA........
