How do I remove this to gain access to the inner ball joint?
Do I need to fit a new one?

I have got a gaitor made by QH part number QG2100 but its only 2 gaitors and they are both the same.
The gaitor on the nearside looks like 2. One is the longer bellows looking and another shorter gaitor covering the tie rod into the rack.
Anybody know if i have the right gaiter set i see another listed by QH number QG2300.

Thanks for the PM. I am going to try and see if I can pull off the outer gaitor if that is what it is where the rod connects to the rack as the gaitor on the main rack is ok.
I only need to replace the tie rod and so hope i can use the same short gaitor again even if i can bodge it a bit. Well my Rad is held in with cable ties so I may as well continue the bodge.lol
Cheers for your help.

Right - got it!!
You just have an issue with the outer gaiter which is a separate part to the
horrid inner one. YES - you just prise it off without any big drama - the inner
will unthread after you've 'broken' the grip with a slight tug on it with moleys
and then it will unthread OK by hand,
DON'T GO NEAR THE INNER IF YOU CAN HELP IT!!
Before taking it all apart, measure it, then again and then remeasure
again to get the alignment almost right so you don't ruin the tyres getting
it somewhere to be checked!!
All the best!!
