This cannot be true surely, an activa on a 51 plate, capable of 147mph, not even my V6 could do that.

You might be looking at 147mph in a V6 Activa down a hill with the wind behind you, but in a 2.0 turbo??Don't dismiss the original guy's comments
My first Xantia Activa was found to be MUCH faster than a friend's Ferrari 308 quatravalve

It ran out of "clock" with the needle resting on the end stop beyond 150 MPH (not kph)
