ZX sunroof corrosion

I have noticed corrosion bubbling up under my sunroof seal. It's just starting to distort the seal. I'd like to remove the seal from the metal/glass and treat the corrosion - has anyone done this and am I asking for trouble?

Has anyone removed the sunroof glass and if so how easy is it?!

I think you would be better off getting hold of a replacement glass from a breaker. There will be plenty about and not nec. rusty or corroded. A new one is about £200 but looks nice

I had this trouble with mine, but managed to source a decent s/h one.

Easy to swap, it's just the four torx head screws - two each side.

Will take a few attempts to get it level - a bit of getting in and out of the car.....
