electric mirrors xantia

i have a dead xantia that has electric mirrors and i want to put them on my other xantia which has manual ones

i have had a quick look at both and i dont have the wiring loom for elecs on the manual

my question is how does the wiring loom connect to the fuse box. is it as simple as a plug i shouldnt really be asking that cos i sense im gonna get some grief in the replies

its a stab in the dark for me but i have got them going spare so in for a penny.......
