Do you have an Activa rear ram bush on order?

After hearing of the delay for numerous Xantia Activa owners in getting hold of the bush that fits at the bottom of the rear ram (part number 5171 13) I contacted Citroen UK to find out what the delay was/are they going to supply etc.

I've now received the following reply;

"I am sorry to learn of your concerns regarding the availability of parts for the above model. However, if you can obtain a Polaris number from the dealer who is is getting the part, we will be able to pursue the situation".

Should you have the above part on order, if you send me a pm with the Polaris number on I'll forward it onto Citroen and hopefully get a positive result.

Sorry my ignorance Dickie - whats a Polaris number ?

TBH I don't know

but presume it's the dealers order number for parts to Citroen UK. I'll phone a friend of mine in the local parts dept to find out for sure tomorrow.

I asked today and was told the Polaris number is simply the order number created when you make an order with Citroen.

Well three actually, due to a double order. I initially ordered two and then, thinking the order had gone astray, I ordered another

One is up for grabs

So, if pr.nt says it's available, eventually, it'll arrive

They cost £14.93 each.
