Front accumalator ticking

Can anyone tell me if the ticking sound is normal front the accumalator when my 2.0 hdi on a T reg is at tickover? it ticks once every 25 seconds or so. Regards Mark

The "tick" is normal - the time interval tells you the state of the accumulator sphere. A new one should be over a minute (assuming no internal pressure leaks in the system); at 25 seconds its OK for now, but i'd be looking at a replacement soon (within the next 6 months/year - depending on usage). A dead one will click every few seconds.
