Has anyone had a rev counter shoot all the way round clock and stayed there-stuck. The speed did this at same time, only that went back to zero. When I tried to start car on Sunday, the battery was nearly flat--it gave enough go to flick the gauges on impulse. Can you get rev counters seperate from rest of clocks.?
First Xant I have had wherr LHM has been changed on service time.. Nice ride, better than my 94 TD, and my 16v VSX. Clutch pedal is heavy though. Another pull clutch.

I'm sure this has been mentioned recently, again with low battery/jump starting it.
Think whoever it was drilled a small hole through the clear plastic of the panel, and used a wire to knock the needle back into place rather than take the instrument panel out.

Thanks for replies and thank you Clogzz for the link-which helped sort problem out.
I disconnected battery, turned ignition on, then reconnected battery---Voila, problem solved. Not before I drilled tiny hole in instrument panel, then flicked needle, which did not flick back.
