door won't open

Hi all

My passesnger side door on my M reg (1995) xantia 1.8i won't open from the outside. Any suggestions before I go taking the door card off. it does open from the inside ok. Thanks in advance.

A clip or rod has more than likely become detatched, you will only be able to gain access by removing the door card.

thats happened to my car before, on mine there is a link rod from the handle and the spring clip had come off, you will need to remove the door card to gain access.
