Xantia Armrest removal

Can anybody offer any advise on the removal of the above. Mine has gone completely loose. There is a bushing inside , which needs replacing, (Bushing only costd 1-50), but I do not how to get the arm rest out. ny advice appreciated

Is this the front or rear arm rest that you are requesting information on ?

Thanks for replying. This is the Armrest Fitted to the front Drivers seat.

Hi, just pull it firmly towards the co-driver's seat.

I tried your suggestion Karel. Unfortunately it didn't move. Could this be because the existing bushing is broken down inside ?
