Renault safrane 3.0 rxe suspension woes

Hi,

My friend has bought a 1997 3.0 rxe with the air suspension. It was bought with the rear suspansion very hard at the back and the suspension light on the dashboard. He recently had a small altercation with a kerb on the front wheel, and it seems that the front suspension has completely lost pressure, the car is bobbing around on a straight road. The renault dealership tested the air system and found no air leaks, but decides that both front shocks were leaking air. They didnt previosuly.

So the question is: Is there a fix for this problem without buying 2 new front shocks? Surely they both didnt fail at the same time... Does anyone have a schematic of the air suspension form a workshop manual at all?
