Citroen AX1400 Diesel Over-Heating

Any one with experiences with these engines.Keeps getting excessive pressure in cooling system which results in overheating.
I have replaced head gasket and resurfaced the head.I now these engines are prone to this problem...What is the usual cause??

Well sounds almosst certainly like teh head again. Sometimes there are minute cracks around the valve ports which even with skimming will cause problems.
Best to get these checked before spending money on the head. Soem palces use X-Rays to spot these failings.

Turned out to be the liner seals.Which had decompressed in size and produced a poor seal on the head.
