I get anywhere between 43 and 50mpg, usually averaging around 47mpg ( fill to fill ) from my 2.1TD saloon.

That's 70% motorway by distance, but 50% local roads by time, approx 70 miles per day.

From when i brimed the tank last sun,to yesterday when the fuel light came on,i`ve done 730 miles so far, average of 47mpg on the computer.Thats a bit of stop start, motorway to london, then down to sussex then back home to Bristol. Not hanging around on the motorway either.

About 30mpg here.

V6 though, and it gets far too much hilly country driving. Needless to say it gets worked hard 8)

Got about 600 miles from a full tank (about 55 quid) in my '98 1.8 Petrol Estate. That was driving from Devon to Stirling with 4 passengers and a pretty full boot, cruising at about 70-80. Not too bad, I get about about 400 to a tank when firing around country roads.
