Went to Finmere today and put my car up on the ramps to give the height adjusters a good clean.
Set the car up high, went underneath and dosed them with WD40.
Then asked my mate to set the car on low.
There was this almightly cracking noise and the car sank.
Yup, you guessed it, rather than lift the lever up then slide it to the low setting, he just ripped it forward.
So now it can't be raised fully, the lever won't lock into place.
Can the broken parts be replaced?
I've just got home, I'm tired, my eyes are burning, and he's now my least favourite person!

That'll be a broken frame, Andy, or the detents have broken off the lever. It may well be repairable. Only way to is to see what has broke. Lift up the trim around the lever (just clipped in) and see what you can see.
Else, it'll be a visit to a scrappy to get a replacement set of bits. Suggest Northampton
The job is easy enough
Happy to lend a hand whenever you want Andy..
