hard front suspension

just bought a 96 TD Estate.Very hard on the front and drops at the rear immediately after starting but does eventually settle.Fully adjustable via height selection lever.Am I looking at accumulator + both front spheres.Thanks for any suggestions

I think you should add an anti-sink sphere to your shopping list - its the reason it drops soon after starting - and of course you've got no rear brakes when it does.

Is your car a VSX model with Hydractive suspension? If so then the fault described could also be due to faulty diodes in the Hydractive blocks.

...Also if its a VSX, dont forget to change the centre sphere, that has far more effect on the ride than the outer ones.
