i spoted this on fleabay item brand new 2.1 D engine, 2 days 8hr to go,buy it now £650 £45 caridge,in norwich,item No.260113433774

I saw that. I recently bought an XM with a new engine, I wonder if it came from the same source?

Be aware! The 2.1 D is NOT the same as the TD! Diff pistons (higher comp) and conrods (weaker). Apart from the lack of turbo and different fuelling.

It does actually say 'turbo' I didn't think the non turbo one was available in this country, I have certainly never seen one. Having said that, it does say XUD11 which without the suffix could be either.

yes it dose state TURBO DIESEL,i just missed the T out
