Hi, how do I find out if this 1997cc HDi is a 16v or 8v? Need to know for the cambelt kit...........Thx :?:

Should be a 8 valve.90 & 110 Hdi`s were 8 valve,the 2.2 Hdi was 16 valve.The new 2.0 Hdi`s 136 bhp as in the 407 etc are 16 valves i belive. :)

I make RHW a 2.0 HDi 16v with DW10ATED4 engine. well in the citroen synergie it is anyway.
If the inlet manifold is on the front of the engine then its a 16v.

Many Thx Wheeler, do you know if the cam sprocket has hole for a bolt to keep it locked at TDC?
