Well had the car in the garage and while it was in there they discovered that the wheel rocks.
They showed me the problem and they say it is where te lower ball joint inserts it self into the hub carrier.
have you ever heard of the hub carrier being worn or have this problem
the ball joint it self was replaced about 7 months ago by the same garage. do you think the ball joint it self is just wrong or it it mre lkley to be the hub?

Hub Carrier / Ball joint
Peugeot 206 1.4 SW, huge amounts of space for a little estate, feels responsive in the corners.

Hi Vaughn,
I'm not fully familar with the ZX but I believe that the hub carrier is similar to the Pug 205. In this case, the problem will be that the hole in the hub carrier where the taper of the lower balljoint goes has worn oval. This is almost always caused by the pinch bolt being either being loose over a long period or an incorrect unshouldered pinch bolt being fitted at some point. It is worth checking that the correct pinch bolt is correctly installed before condemming the hub carrier. pinch Bolts are as cheap as chips from Cit/Pug.
The hub carrier is a bit of a pain to fit due to the wheel bearings being pressed in. Might be best to get a good 'un from a scrapper.

As Jim explains the swivel joint is held in the hub by clamping it with a pinch bolt. It is known that the hole in the hub becomes oval for the reasons explained.
IMHO an unfortunate design, as it is possible for the swivel joint to completely depart the hub, with no other warnings than the occasional rattling or knocking.
Morale : if a ZX is rattling or knocking from the front suspension, you MUST pursue the problem a-s-a-p

Had exactly the same problem on a 306. Tightened the pinch bolt and all was fine. I did replace the bolt shortly after though.
it is likely that the hub carrier section where the pinch bolt fits has opened out a little due to the original bolt either not being tightened, or stretching. Either way, it will clamp up again with a new bolt.
