Anyone who has the 2.1 haynes engine manual?

Hi,

Could anyone give me the main bearing diameter for the 2068cc (2.1 turbo) xud11 engine please?

They certainly have gone down hill, but to be fair, how many people rebuild engines on the kitchen table now! :)

Main bearing diameter standard: 60.0 +0 -0.019 mm.
Undersize: 59.7 +0 -0.019 mm.

But on the other hand, just noticed an instruction for replacing the rear brake pads " insert pads into caliper ensuring that the friction material is facing the disc".

Yes, gone downhill. Or is that dumbing down?

Mmm.. maybe they have been tempted to fit them the other way round to make them last longer!

The measurements are given in both the Haynes XM manual and the Haynes Pug 406 manual.
