citroen pr-net

Unread post by lawns »

Hi all,
I am unable to log on to pr-net after years of use. I get the message that my logon or password is incorrect so I re-registerd but get the same
message with my new log on and password.
Is/has anyone had the same problem and who can I contact to resolve this?
I would also like to thank Andy S again for resolving a similar problem with frenchcarforum.
Regards,
lawns

Its still working for me here, just tried it

I would get in touch with the webmaster for the PR net site & ask them for help.

Had the same problem a year ago.
I just re-registered ** using the same username **, received a new password, then changed my account back to the old password after registering.

Have you tried the "forgot your password" option ?
Remember that passwords are caps sensitive.

NOTE : Since then I've noticed you can no longer register as a new PR-net member not supplying a company tax registration number. That was possible when I first registered.

EDIT : I'm using Microsoft IExplorer 6

PR.net accounts time out after a period of inactivity (seems to be around 3 months) and they regulalry flush non used accounts! Trick seems to be to regulalry add things to your shopping basket!

I use Citroen-pr.net regularly but find it can sometimes be temperamental and exasperating, especially when it locks up on a particular icon or refuses to release information. I do not think the programme is particularly user friendly, so it must be even more exasperating for Citroen dealers and parts suppliers. Otherwise it is a good source for information.

I have never had a problem accessing it, I suppose having registered as an independent trader has helped. The ID and password information is case sensitive, so it helps to get it right every time. The only other critisism is that it is so slow when it is searching the database!

Hi all,
Thanks for all your posts. It looks as if I had two problems, as you identified. My old ID was timed out due to low use and new password was given in upper case but only worked in lower case!
Thanks again,

Had something like that a few weeks ago, saying I had to book back in.
I had the log-in number kept somewhere else, and put it back in, and it fell into place. :D

I got in, from Australia, which isn’t listed.
It’s all European countries and Argentina.
So, tell yourself; and tell PR-Net that you’re in one of those countries of your choice, and answer the questions to their requirements, as I did.
AndersImage posts about needing a company tax registration number.
I doubt that there would be a standardised numbering system for all those countries.
So try, say, an Australian ABN number to see what it makes of it.
There are enough of them here everywhere to know what they’re meant to look like. Image

I just found out that using the help button when on the registering page, you get info on default settings, if you dont have tax reg or fax number (required !). This will enable you to register
