Haynes Manual

I have a 2000 V reg Xantia. Is the Hayne's manual published OK as it only goes up to 1998.

It is pretty much O.K,as with a 2000 car you hopefully will not be doing any major work.The haynes manual is to my mind not as thorough on the Xantia,as on other brands of cars.The big problem that I find with Haynes is that it advises you to strip so much material to carry out small repairs,and you do not need to do this in practice,yet I would not be without a copy

The only other problem you may have is if your car has an HDi diesel engine (or for that matter, a V6 petrol), which this manual doesn't cover unfortunately.
