REAR WIPER AND BRAKE LIGHTS FAULT 2000 SCENIC ANYONE KNOW?

int rear wipe and brake lights
the wiper can go by itself too

they diconnected the rear wiper and ive been given a price of either £150 or £500 something to do with the wiring if its £150 or if not its going to be £500
anyone had any similar faults and know what this could be>?

Nothing specific but judging by other faults I have come across check your earthing points are good as a bad earth can cause strange behaviour.
There are earthing points in the tailgate area for the lights that should be checked

i did think bad earth for the light fault
but ill check the wiper too
