ZX TD dry bearing noise

1998 ZX TD with 118000 miles; there is a "dry bearing" noise coming from the auxiliary belt/cambelt area. I've not recently done any work in this area, Belts were changed 18000 miles ago.

What is the most likely cause?

It was the belt tensioner, so a cheap easy fix :)
