thats as proper snow as we get it in DK also
Mind that DK & south of Sweden got the same climate like the London area of Britain -
Still, many people (outside DK) believe we have IceBears walking around the streets here in winter time

You've got to go to Norway or bit north in Sweden to get REAL snow - for DAYS !

Interesting - I thought you guys had harsher winters than the UK!
We do get a whole load of RAIN, probably why everyone here is
obsessed about the weather...

Either that was one hell of a fast snow dump, or that CX has very low leakage in the suspension

Let me guess:

An explosion in a cocaine factory?
Someone blew up a bean bag factory?
You parked the car in a chicken shed?

No really I think it's that stuff called SNOW isn't it?

Like we don't have snow in Australia!? Would you believe several weeks ago I was snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef, just off Port Douglas and we had reports from friends back down south that it was snowing in Canberra - in mid November (ie late spring). On the reef it was a lovely sunny 32 deg C. Bliss!

I used to live in the south of NSW in the Snowy Mountains (yes a committe e came up with that) and we had snow from May to October most years on the peaks.

Don't forget too that we lay claim to 2/3 or thereabouts of one of the biggest chunks of snow on the planet. It's just a little south of Tasmania.

Mind you it's a nice pic.

Hi Craig, glad we don't have the monopoly with snow!

I guess it's easy to believe it's only EVER hot sunshine;
Shane of CX-L fame loves to take every opportunity to remind
everyone here how nice & hot it is in Oz!!

The car actually doesn't sink that quickly, and the snow
DID come down quite hard...

worth that 'Kodak moment' as it thawed almost immediately.

Like the cocaine factory explosion though!

I remenber Danish winters very well Anders. I remember sne that lasted for months and was half a metre thick as well as a day in early January '85 where the temperature reached -40.

Shane also forgets that he lives not that far from Melbourne and the whole state of Victoria is cool in winter. My stepson lived in Melglum for 15 months and he reckoned he was never so cold in his life - and he was born and lived until 15 y/o in Cooma at the foot of the Snowy Mtns.

Although Aussies in general will complain more about the heat than cold, I think we have the better deal. A few days per year at less than 0 C is far more tolerable than weeks or months, and when the heat in Aus is mostly dry heat (away from the coastal areas) it is tolerable as you sweat and cool off and most places have air con.

although I was inland earlier this year when I hit a heatwave with temps ranging between 42 and 50 most of the time, and according to locals out there these days, they are beginning to gety humidity now due to all the water being pumped around the place on the cotton farms. They're changing the environment so much, that the interior is beginning to get the worst of both worlds; heat and humidity. You know where I am, and at present it's like an early spring day...beautiful, not like it usually is, hot as the hobs of hades, but about a month ago it was so cold we almost got frost and it did actually snow in Southern Queensland away from the coast. That morning, we got 6 degrees......how crazy's that!!
