Citroen Xsara Change over Shape (2001)

Side Light Change - can not get bulb out, so is it a case of headlamp removal and does front bumper have to come off? Can anybody tell me how it comes off and is is much of a job.

grab a small mirror and have another go, we've got a new shape xsara and I started removing the headlight becuase I couldn't get the bulb out but it is a bumper off job - eventutally changed it wiht the aid of the mirror,
