Inspired by the other thread about Mk1 headlamp bulbs, I thought I would ask if any member here had changed the bulbs in a Mk2 for Silverstars or whatever? Any improvement? If find that after my 405 the Xantias aren't as good.
Also does the Mk2 use H7s?
Thanks.
Steve.

I put Silverstars in mine too. I didn't see much improvement but I suspect that the old ones were the Philips equivalent. As Ross said, the MK2 has two H1s per side, just like the Mk1.
Why did Citroen feel that this arrangement was better than an old fashioned H4 single headlight?

Some twin filament bulbs mean you can only run one filament at a time, i.e. dipped OR full beam and not both or they overheat and die, I'm not sure whether that is the case with H4s or H7s but with two independant H1s you can have both on at the same time.reblack68 wrote:I put Silverstars in mine too.
