If I remember correctly the VTR was based on the SX with a bit of a body kit.
Although when I looked at it there was no 2.2 HDi, just the 2.0

I do recall a roadtest in AutoExpress where the punchline was the VTR didn't
amount to anything really significant as far as performance is concerned and
that it was pretty much viewed as a level of trim. Unlike the VTR/VTS on the
Saxo...
I'd check out what the specs show for cars advertised on autotrader or look
at Parker's guide to see if anything significant marks the models apart.
