Vehicle Identification

2004 04 CITROEN C5 2.2HDI VTR I AM LOOKING TO PURCHASE ONE
CAN ANYONE CLARIFY WHAT THE VTR STANDS FOR I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT SX SPEC SO FAR THANKS! :? :?

If I remember correctly the VTR was based on the SX with a bit of a body kit.

Although when I looked at it there was no 2.2 HDi, just the 2.0

I do recall a roadtest in AutoExpress where the punchline was the VTR didn't
amount to anything really significant as far as performance is concerned and
that it was pretty much viewed as a level of trim. Unlike the VTR/VTS on the
Saxo...

I'd check out what the specs show for cars advertised on autotrader or look
at Parker's guide to see if anything significant marks the models apart.

VTS was the performance version of the Saxo, with the 120 bhp 1.6 litre engine. The VTR came with a body kit very like the VTS but it's engine was more insurer friendly.... it looked like a VTS but didn't go like one.
