New member saying Hi.

Post by fourwheelsteer »

Hi everyone, I found this forum courtesey of BXbodger who posts on the popularclassics.net forum. I had a browse through some of the topics and this looks like a forum I'd like to be part of.

I chose my username because I'm a big fan of Hondas with four-wheel steering but a change in my circumstances earlier this year saw me buying a Citroen BX19TRS auto. I've been really impressed by the BX, I'd always admired Citroen's in theory but the BX was my first real chance to discover how well oleopneumatic suspension and Citroen brakes really work.

Before I took the plunge with my BX I feared that Citroen ownership would be punctuated by leaking hydraulics, erratic electronics and general unreliablity. Now I know this isn't necessarily the case I'm looking again at Citroens I once admired but never thought of owning. Maybe one day I'll have an XM, a Xantia (Activa if possible and I buy one soon) or maybe even a CX, DS or SM.

And for the non-Citroen fans, I've got fond memories of a Peugeot 205GTi 1.6 an ordinary 106 and a 406 V6 coupe. I also quite fancy the Alpine Renaults - maybe one day...

I can confirm that LHM doesn't come out of a grey Matalan T shirt.

Welcome to the forum 4WS. Coincidentally it was a link from BXbodger's sig that led me to Popular Classics, where I post as Richard.
