remote locking problem

hi guys
having problem with my remote central locking

i locked the car last night with the plip worked no problem locked and deadlocked i went out to car this morning and the fob wouldnt open the car

i checked the plip using the digital camera trick its working even tried putting new batteries in just in case and rechecked with camera appears to be working fine

its weird how it just seems to have gone overnight

does anyone have any ideas what could cause this

it is the ir version of the remote locking

If you can check it with a digital camera its infra red. The later Radio Frequency transmitter won't emit anything detectable by the camera but might interfere with it.

Camera trick is when u see white light from the plip on the digital camera screen to answear tantos question same thing happened to my car took it too local rip of dealer said it was water in footwell been drying it out for weeks to no avail.

the car is dry no leaks anywhere
i`ve tried reprogramming it as well but still no luck
i cant think of anything else that could be wrong with it

What about a very slight water leak coming in through the aerial base & into the recever unit ?
It wouldnt be the 1st time i've seen that.
