306 D service

Post by np »

My Stepsister has just brought a very tidy basic 306 n/a diesel.Going to give it a service next weekend for her, just the basic oil,oil air fuel filter.Just wondering if any one could tell me how much oil it takes.IIRC my TD A/C Xantia took just over 4 liters.Would just like to know as it takes out some off the guess work :) .
Also, can anyone tell me how to reset the service spanner symbol on the speedo?
Many thanks :)

All of the diesels seem to hold around 4.5 to 5 litres including the filter.

Nearer 4.5 than 5. Put 5 in and the level on the dipstick will be a bit high. To reset the spanner - press and hold the button. Turn on the ignition. Continue to hold the button and the digits will count down to 6000.
