Sunroof

Hi, back again, I have a 405 with an electric sunroof, motor works but nothing moves, has anyone tried replacing the cable, or fixing a sunroof before and could pass on any advise. My main worry is that the glass roof isn't in it's fully closed position, it sits about 1/4 inch down.

Hi Doug.
It may not help much, but I did a sunroof on a Peugeot 104 years ago and it wasn't that bad a job. It wasn't a electric one it was manual. If your headlining is a one piece item, it may be worth removing it for a quick look.
