Intermittant Wipe Xantia 1.8i

Sister-in Law's Xantia intermittant wipe does not work. Stopped working other day. Both other speeds work OK. Anyone had this problem? Any suggestions? Cheers

Does the self parking work properly? These things rely on the self parking switches in the motor and simply provide a pulse to get the motor going and leave the rest to the parking mechanism.

Otherwise check all the wiring but its probably the timer which is probably located in the column stalk. This doesn't seem to be a common fault so a good check of all plugs on the motor and the switch is worthwhile.

Yes, the parking works fine. Thanks for the reply. I'll have to have a look next time I'm over her way. Just thought that there may have been something obvious, cheers.
