megane steering problem

Unread post by sawman »

:) hi guys sorry to be a nuisance but i really need some help,my wifes megane passed its mot on monday after a nightmare brake disc and pad change by myself(bloody torque screws)anyway after car was mot`d the garage adjusted the tracking as the car was pulling slightly after i changed drivers side strut .the strange thing is the car drives fine in a straight line but as soon as it goes round a corner or a roundabout it pulls very badly to the side from which it was turned(ie. turn to right straighten up it pulls to the right)has anyone else had or got this problem any advice would be appreciated thanks :?

Tracking adjustment will only correct any toe -in/out problem and steering wheel spoke alignment. It wont fix the car pulling to either side.

You should have the front lower steering/suspension components checked. Most likely either the lower sviwel ball joint or a control arm bushing has given up the ghost.
