406 Misfire

Hi guys

I read my previous post in this and it apeared a bit rushed. Tuesday night on mway slowed in queueing traffic when set off again it started kangarooing, then once in 3rd gear ok. So at 70 it was ok until we hit an incline and then it slowed and struggled. Got to work realised idle was a bit erratic and appeared to be missing.

Took car to a mate, he checked plugs they were ok, he said ignition coil pack was arcing., so in process of replacing(not arrived yet!!). Now if this doesnt solve the problem any ideas what to look for next. Also would it still run a bit iffy once the new coil pack fitted until ecu sorts itself out.

Getting coil pack from local breakers, but has anyone a link on here where to get one from. The only place ive found is pugspares.
