C15/BX Seats?

Post by Ross_K »

Does anybody know if there is any chance the seats from a BX GTi would be a slot-in replacement for the boring seats in a C15 van? Or will I need to get my hands on rails, etc.?

My poor BX 4x4 is officially a lost cause, and it's gonna be broken up shortly. The seats are a lot more supportive than the C15 ones so I'd like to do my spine a favour and chuck them in the van. 8)

Quicker to try one than type a question on here! - only 4 bolts for a BX seat and the whole thing comes out complete with sliders etc.

ZX has much the same system (4 bolts on the runners - so it could be the usual Citroen seat mounting system.)

Usually it would be faster alright, but the van is outside the door and the car is 60 miles away...

I had a feeling it might be a standard mounting alright. I'll post back with my findings once I get a chance to do a bit of dismantling.
