I assume they dont have speed humps over there or anything with even a slight gradient.

Why a Xantia? Just leave it for the Clios, Saxos, Novas and Corsas

It looked to me like he had the lever in the lowest setting. Look at the wheels in the arches.

It is not to my taste at all, but it does appear as though the job has been(well and truly) finished. As for the question, why a Xantia.. surely that is the whole point -why copy everybody else?.. -and of course he (or she) can get quite radical with the plastic and still drive about once the suspension is raised.
I won't do that again

R reg xantia 1.9td 186000 miles veggy power expired
L reg renault clio 1.9D 91000 miles expired at 107000 miles
x reg clio 15d veggy power bottom of the car rotted through
06 c5 2.2 TD wowser so much power and comfort 160000 miles
